The Heritage Preaching Lectures is an event that seeks to equip and encourage pastors and other ministry leaders with the tools needed to sharpen their skills to serve their churches and congregations.
This year, Heritage Theological Seminary is pleased to welcome Dr. Jonathan Pennington to be our speaker for the day. Dr. Jonathan Pennington is Professor of New Testament Interpretation of Southern Seminary in Louisville, Kentucky. He also serves as one of the Teaching Pastors at Sojourn East Church in Louisville. He has been a professor for over 20 years and in pastoral ministry for over 30 years. He is the author of many books including, Reading the Gospels Wisely, The Sermon on the Mount and Human Flourishing, Small Preaching: 25 Things You Can Do to Improve as a Preacher, and Come and See: The Journey of Knowing God through Holy Scripture.
