Heritage Masterclass | Krik Wellum
Join Dr. Kirk Wellum for a one-week intensive on "Revelation" to deepen your understanding of Scripture, church history, and ministry.
The book of Revelation brings the biblical canon to its climax. Its imagery and theology draw deeply on earlier Scripture while directing the church toward Christ’s return and the consummation of God’s purposes. Because of its literary complexity and history of diverse interpretation, Revelation requires careful attention to its historical setting, literary form, canonical context, and theological message.
This course seeks to understand what John, the human author, and the Lord, the ultimate author, communicate through thisfinal revelation of Jesus Christ. Although not every interpretive question will be resolved, students will pursue careful, responsible conclusions while remembering the blessing promised to those who read, hear, and keep what is written.
